Pickering's Gin
Pickering's Gin is based on an old Bombay recipe, handwritten on a fragment of paper dated 17 July 1947.
Kept as a family secret for over 66 years, it only resurfaced in 2013 when we began distilling at Summerhall,
right in the heart of Edinburgh.

By the time we launched in 2014 we had fine-tuned the recipe, perfecting its balance of botanicals and tweaking
it to the contemporary palate. The result is a spectacularly smooth, refreshing and flavoursome gin.

Tasting notes: Fresh, light and bold flavours of citrus and juniper give way to intense warming spice of cardamom,
coriander seed and clove.

Pickering's Original 1947
This edition is made precisely to our original recipe, as it was written down in Mount Mary, Bombay, in 1947.
Here the botanical mix includes cinnamon, which adds a decidedly warming and spicy kick to the spirit.

Tasting notes: Spicier, sweeter and more intense, it’s a decadent trip back to the last days of the Raj.
Cardamom, coriander, clove and cinnamon spice lead to a crisp, refreshing and long finish.

Pickering's Navy Strength
In 2014 we became official gin sponsor of The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo.
To mark the occasion we released our Naval Strength edition, also affectionately known as the bearskin gin.

Tasting notes: Bottled at 57.1% ABV, our spirit is smooth, clean and powerful. Initial juniper and aromatic
spice flavours lead to a delicious sweetness.
Each bottle of gin comes with a bearskin hat and a commemorative necktag.
Pickering's Sloe Gin
For their latest batch of Sloe Gin, Pickering's have used a specially designed one-off distillation
rather than their regular gin to perfect this popular bottling and create the desired complementary flavour profile.
A perfect winter warmer.
Unfortunately, this product is very limited and is not available at this time.
Hopefully we will get some of the next batch.
